Life happens — job loss, financial strain, uncertainty. And when it does, our community shows up. In 2026, the Community Fund raised $21,076, helping 13 riders reach the start line.

Your gift helps remove financial barriers so more people can ride, volunteer, and show up fully. Together, we make Center Ride Out accessible to all.

Who can apply?

The Community Fund is open to anyone who would benefit from financial support. We recognize that systemic inequities can make fundraising more challenging — particularly for BIPOC, trans and gender-diverse individuals, and femmes — and we aim to create more equitable access so more people can show up, participate, and lead within this community.

How can I make an offline donation (check, matching gift, donor advised fund) to the Community Fund?

Mail a check payable to the Los Angeles LGBT Center, with “Center Ride Out - Community Fund." The donation should be directed in the memo line to: Friends of the Center PO Box 51896 Los Angeles, CA 90051-6196.

How do I apply for the Community Fund?

Applications are open year-round, with priority consideration for the upcoming ride closing on February 12. Applicants will be notified of awards by February 15.
